I imagine women who are either in prison or about to go to prison will do everything within their power to get pregnant. It’s sorta like how women in the military get knocked up before they can be deployed.

Also, how many abortions has this woman had in her lifetime? Is the child in her womb suddenly sacred when she’s trying to secure special treatment in prison?
