Social Security is untenable. It's already looking like funding for it has to be raised, and they're already pushing a ton of debt onto the next generation.
They kicked the can too far down the road to the point that they "owe" the existence of these future generations to stay solvent.
Can you take the fight to women? Of course not. They'll vote out anyone who tries, and their feelings towards the other half of the population won't change even if the law did. We see that in places where women are "oppressed" that frequently flare up on that issue, like Iran.
Social security is slavery. Young people are forced to work to care for old people. Forcing anyone to work and not get the full extent of their labor is slavery. I guess it just depends how you look at it. And politicians love taxing people more because they use the tax funds not just to pay for these social programs but they use public funds to fund their own pet projects which is how politicians and their friends get rich and powerful.
