The problem isn't YIMBY or even large apartment buildings being built in cities, it's the dipshit regulations that require even luxury apartment buildings to set aside so many units for "muh low income" which then attract people who absolutely ruin the neighborhood.
There absolutely needs to be more middle income housing, just without the bullshit handouts.
