I blame LBJ. He was a real monster. Worse than Dementia Joe, and that's saying quite a bit. LBJ knew exactly what he was doing, and a case can be made that DJ is being played by his handlers because he's totally Out to Lunch.

Hell, Johnson probably had JFK whacked, or at least knew who did it.
