I meant to say that they admit it, not that they're wrong about it. They mean to politicize every aspect of life, and that is probably why politics has been injected into every aspect of life.
Bret Weinstein also had a nice definition of social justice, in the context of blacks. The injection of de facto 'reparations' in every aspect of life, in which every interaction that includes a black will have to advantage the black (at least nominally, because this is probably more of a disaster for them than for other groups). The extent to which this rung true was creepy. The cops have to treat them more leniently, they have to be advantaged when seeking jobs and university admission, and if you have a public fight with a black, you're automatically to blame (unless he's a conservative, then you may freely murder him).
No-one is defending what he did, it's the escalation to a full-on MeToo movement and another front in the culture war that people are keeping a concerned eye on.
