I don't know the IQ of your average islander but I do know there isn't a single animal on Earth that runs towards a fire. Do the officials really have that little respect for Hawaiians?

Having spent a decent amount of time there I can confirm the stupidity of what occurred is not shocking in the least. Something in the water there impacts decision making.
