Gone are the days of pixelated boobies and a perfect arse to look at in third person, now I have to suffer the misery of either having to constantly look at female characters that have been beaten with the ugly stick and the best I can hope for is Minthara or Shadowheart then the rest of the fucking big studios are just motion capturing insecure fat feminists and trannies. Or they uglify even okay looking actresses on purpose to avoid offending their screeching employees.
This is the equivalent of when feminists went after grid girls and hooters, they hate attractive women. I'm more disappointed and sad about this than I thought I would be because it's yet another male thing that we like looking at attractive women that these shit heads have deliberately set out to destroy.
They're going to make the strippers in the new GTA fat and ugly, I can feel it.
Main reason why I learn Japanese is because I want to experience media the way it was intended. I always love watching say a French movie in French with subtitles already, I think going for that with games, no matter if old or new is just the next logical step.
They absolutely butcher even the subtitles now in anime sometimes to the point it's unwatchable and this is the case even when the characters say a very specific Japanese words. The classic one is "baka" which just means "idiot" as most people know but there have been times I've seen them just making shit up instead of doing their jobs and it gets worse the more Japanese you begin to understand instead of just being a weeb. I'm talking entire sentences and monologue's cut out and replaced with something else that doesn't even seem to really make sense.
I noticed this as well, I have started to listen and not read the subs as much.
I just can't work out whether that's the cheap bastards relying on machine learning translation which absolutely plagues Japanese media now or whether it's just them being lazy. The quality of anime has always been quite hit and miss but it's been getting pretty bad lately where they constantly rely on poorly modelled 3D that isn't even rendered at a proper framerate among other things and it just looks completely out of place which leads me to believe they're cutting corners in production value too.
There's also been some oddness going on with the scheduling of various studios which isn't good, as if they don't have the episodes all lined up beforehand and can't just release them online even if it's not on television. The Japanese really are stuck in the 90's sometimes when it comes to their software and tech with how they do things.
