Most youtubers/content creators are shut-ins with little life. Who else is going to take the time for it? I think you expect too much out of people. Take them for what they are instead of demanding too much from them.

Especially when half their content even when it's a different topics is them bitching about youtube policy and mirroring the very same video to an alt-tech site which just shows they're being lazy. Sometimes they do put up alt-tech exclusives, however they often only do it unless they have absolutely no other choice and will censor themselves.

To be fair, you can't make a career out of content creation without youtube, where most viewers are. Most content creators want to make a living out of it, and you just can't make money without youtube numbers. You need like six figures of views for enough people to donate a living wage.

Alternatively I've also found myself far more interested in watching some autist ramble on about a subject they're specialised in for 30 minutes than bother with any of the old youtubers I used to watch.

Me too. If you're tired of commentators then it means there really isn't much more to be said anymore. You already know marxism, the deep state and good and evil. There's not much more than that. I also don't bother with a lot of content these days, even most threads here: much of it is the same old complaining about the same old things. Better to spend the time elsewhere.
