It's not like with race where they can immediately pivot to nazism and white supremacy

Eh, I wouldn't put it past them. Somehow they can always find a way to link any complaint to "muh antisemitism." People want just one completely straight character in something? -> "Hate Campaign Against <X> Reminds Us How Heteronormative Orthodoxy is Rooted in Antisemitism".
