Kaepernick has the right to say whatever but my annoyance with him is my same annoyance of young black people who never shut up about race. The dude doesn’t know what he is talking about. Talks about black men dying in the streets but ignores the fact that the number one killer of black men is other black men. Can’t shut up about white people either. I just find it really annoying when black people half my age endlessly talk about slavery or Jim Crow as if they directly experienced it.
As for the other stuff I think you would agree that a lot of entertainment is more concerned with diversity than good storytelling combined with people entering hobbies to change them because they see that men enjoy something and see it as a problem.
I'd rather people be upfront about their direct biases because at least that can be talked about in a way that's actually grounded in reality.
Just assuming people are racist, or any kind of '-ist', is infinitely worse because it destroys any possible meaningful conversation. It instantly poisons the well, and ruins any chance of positive societal trajectory through public discourse. All you do is get people, even the ones who weren't actually racist, to dig their heels in.
Hell, I'm left-leaning, and the number of chromosomally advantaged dipshits on the left that are utterly unaware of themselves doing this makes me prefer the right being in power because it will almost universally provide a better starting point than working with the left, especially since I don't want to work from the "hurrr communism actually good" position half of these retards have now.
Am I actually on the right now? I can't even tell anymore. Words don't have real meaning these days.
What I do know is that the left have done more damage to minority groups' interests with the amount of pushback they've created than modern racists ever could have. There should probably be a lesson in that.
