I argued with some fat-obsessed chick a few years ago on some forums who was fullbore trying to push how "female characters were never fairly represented". I presented her with example after example, including female characters of older ages. She said "those don't count because they're not fat and chunky."

I think the most amazing part was how she's tried to argue about body image as a factor, yet the elderly character who clearly has minimal sex appeal does not count somehow.
