The National archives copy has "military-industrial", but it also has notes on it for changes, like it wasn't the final draft. There are arguments that Ike wanted to say the phrase, and arguments that he never uttered the phrase.
Ike wrote a lot about how the "revolving door" between military, industry and government needed to be closed, so I believe that he wanted to use the term, but was afraid that it would blow up in his face.
Based on what we've seen today, I can see his fear was real. Thank you for telling me this.
