Hats off for stating so

There are very rare times I'd vote someone down without stating why I don't think the idea, or article, if useful here - but when I do I usually either remove the downvote or add my thoughts as to why I downvoted.

People are allowed to do as they please here of course, I just didn't know any history of why a US serviceperson dying and not being sent back to the US to be buried would get a downvote. I understand that perhaps it's more about the OP driving people towards talking about Ukraine or other things which I'm not here for.
