It's basically taking out a cash advance from your credit card, heading to the first Blackjack table you can find, then hitting on a 19. The entire economy is nothing but promises and I can't wait for it to inevitably fall apart.
So much of the structure is built on mortgages, the collapse is inevitable. When the boomers begin to die off, and their children aren't reproducing at replacement rates, we're going to have a lot of effectively worthless housing.
That's when they import people to fill them up, who instantly start neglecting them and the people around them, so society falls apart. America is going to look like South Africa more and more as time goes on.
The only way sub-Saharan gimmegrants and rapefugees occupy middle-class homes is by force. People will have visible evidence they're being replaced, and might actually notice.
