Why do Jews have this thing with performative masochism? You could argue black people have the same thing but not really because even though all their narratives revolve around slavery and cops, they still find ways to look cartoonishly triumphant e.g. Yakub and George Floyd murals. But Jews just love to tell stories of evil Europeans lynching them and they don't seem to express ethnic pride in the traditional way. The IDF is one of the world's premier militaries but most Jews ignore it. I guess this is just another manifestation of their "strategy" for embedding and surviving in other cultures.
