A professional org I'm in has their conference in this 🗑 🔥 of a city in a few years. I think im going to have something mysteriously come up that makes me miss it lol
That's "good" news but I'm doubtful mine will do that. Apparently a year or so before I got into my line of work this same org barred Texan cities from hosting because of LGBT nonsense.
Had actual things come up that made me miss a recent one and I was glad as most of the seminars were woke nonsense.

Most people are pulling their conferences from Portland, we've lost a ton of trade shows and events over the past few years.
