This is also why they went so hard after Rittenhouse and Zimmerman. Anarcho-tyranny doesn't work when the criminals are too scared to misbehave. The most corrupt DA can drop charges against the most heinous crimes imaginable, but they're never going to be capable of bringing back the dead.
