I agree, and its something I enjoyed a lot about the earlier Bioware games. They had the annoying wokies trying to preach, but you could call them out on their shit most of the time and even other characters would get in on it. Anders from DA2 is given endless shit for his whiney "muh oppression" attitude, which would never fly today.

Shit, just show me a gay getting killed just for being gay in one of these settings, instead of the homophobia being toothless and safely evil like it always is.
