Would crucifixion be considered blasphemous? That would accomplish a similar goal to the old "heads on spikes" routine. Could also go full "Vlad the Impaler" for another option.

As far as I understand it crucifixion would not be blasphemy. It was a legitimate form of execution and happened to be the one that Christ was subjected to. It wasn't reserved for Christians, or Christ.

I am down with going full Vlad.
