my f12 button doesnt open developer tools it just flips the screen upside down.
You can also access it in the main browser menu, often under More Tools.
Ctrl+Shift+I might also open dev tools.

There are a few browser extensions that can do it. Awesome Screenshot is one.
I just screengrab, paste into GIMP, then select what I need an make an image out of that. Yeah, maybe too much effort, but oh well.
