Fauci was well known for bungling AIDs so badly that gay publications not even a decade ago were calling him a modern Hitler and blaming him for thousands of deaths. Which they weren't wrong on, as he directly forced certain studies and treatments underground to prolong his power structure and plan.

And now the Left, which includes most gays, consider him a literal hero and have completely forgotten all of that.

So I doubt anyone will care, they will just let it sit.
