Twitter rewards disingenuous hyperbole. It’s a competition to say the most outrageous thing so that a person can stand out from the crowd and receive the most attention, but none of what people say is binding or necessarily even true. People are, in fact, heavily incentivized to exaggerate and lie.
In this case, attention-seeking Twitter users know that the leftist Twitter market wants over-the-top thirsty and degenerate tweets about this tranny. So we get hundreds or thousands of these “creative” declarations of thirst for this “stunning and brave” “girl”.
Leftist Twitter then proceed to imagine that their insane worldview has been sincerely affirmed by hundreds of thousands of real people (while the opportunistic authors of those tweets cynically cash in on easy likes and retweets). It’s a smooth transaction between a willfully delusional marketplace and enthusiastic liars.
Meanwhile, in reality, almost no one actually wants anything to do with the festering axe wound you call a vagina. The only people lining up to go to town on this tranny are other freaks, degenerates, weirdos, etc. The appearance of mainstream “thirst” for trannies is a manufactured mirage.
I think most trannies who kill themselves do so when they realize that most of the affirmation they receive is purely ideological/political. Almost none of it manifests as real sex or love, and in fact their decisions have made real sex and love (with desirable partners) even more unlikely.
“Passing” isn’t a binary. It doesn’t mean a tranny has magically and permanently graduated into a class of being that is indistinguishable from a real woman. “Passing” means you are capable of temporarily projecting a convincing facsimile of a real woman via heavy makeup, tricky clothing, favorable camera angles, etc.
Ugly and/or old women use all the same tricks to appear pretty and/or young. Upon closer examination i.e. intimacy, the lie is always revealed. The quality of the illusion is determined by the amount of scrutiny required to pierce the illusion. At no point, however, does the illusion become reality.
“Passing” just means you’re an especially good liar.
You really nailed it on both points. On point 1, I’ve been told by a black classmate that he can palpably feel the insincerity in Zoom class, where if HE makes a point or says something the SJW wing of the class is all up in the chat window going “YES!” and “great point!” and “100!” whereas if a white guy made the same point the SJW wing of the class does not respond. My friend KNOWS he’s being praised for ideological reasons, but he can dismiss it, and dismiss the praises themselves, because he is a healthy-minded adult whose self-esteem or indeed his very survival is not perpetually in the balance, hinging on that very praise and affirmation.
On point 2, but seriously: sometimes I look on the mirror and think I look alright, and sometimes I see myself on the camera screen at the self-checkout and think, who is that hideous big monster?? Photography artists have done projects where they show how angles, lighting, etc. can have a massive impact on perception of people’s looks. It’s kind of fascinating to think about, and it’s why I never fell for the whole Instagram model culture lol.

It's going to be wild when the neg-filters hit consumers and purposely make them ugly in order to subtly encourage them to buy specific products to make them more attractive. When they get home and look in the mirror they'll see they've been tricked but entropy means most will not go and return the products.
