sometimes I see myself on the camera screen at the self-checkout and think, who is that hideous big monster?? Photography artists have done projects where they show how angles, lighting, etc. can have a massive impact on perception of people’s looks
It's going to be wild when the neg-filters hit consumers and purposely make them ugly in order to subtly encourage them to buy specific products to make them more attractive. When they get home and look in the mirror they'll see they've been tricked but entropy means most will not go and return the products.
