All I know is, I just wanted them to leave video games alone. It was obvious then, and still is obvious now that they don't care about it, or anything for that matter. Other than their ideology. They just crave ideological subversion.

It's almost cultish behavior. Find something, taint it, destroy what it was, make it yours, call it a win, move on. That's what they do. They'll do and say anything, even contradicting themselves minutes later, so long as it's for the cult.

And knowing it goes all the way to the top was a sobering, if disheartening find.

It's a David and Goliath story, except people will yell at you for not thinking of Goliath's feelings, while they secretly collude with Goliath in a new way behind the scenes in some other place.
