Hi, I actually teach students. Probably the only one commenting here who does. We already know the harm the pandemic did - it's been well studied. Pandemics are devastating for student wellbeing and grades are only a tiny component of learning

Only because you've made it a tiny component. It's not supposed to be that way, but they don't give a shit if kids actually learn anything besides being able to regurgitate leftist talking points.
