He's so obviously corrupt that he can't just ignore it, so he'll put on a show-trial for himself and find himself not guilty.
There is no way he could actually be punished by his own police force.
FYI, the judicial review of the invocation of the Emergencies Act is still awaiting decision. That suit has teeth. The "inquiry" mandated by the Emergencies Act itself does not and never did.
