I wonder how long before gated communities simply get their own electric generators / batteries, because it will be cheaper and they will have fewer blackouts.
You can already use an electric car's battery as a backup if your charger plug is made for that.
coulda swore everytime anyone tries to go offgrid they get a visit from the g men and suddenly change their minds...
