This is definitely on a much larger and dangerous scale but I’m reminded of when the religious right would be outraged back in the day and we were told “don’t watch it”. That’s fine but when you tell lgbt activists to make their own content or don’t watch programming or it doesn’t represent you, then they have a fit.
