The games industry is shit, Hollywood is shit, so learn Blender, game engines and make your own shit
You'll have more fun making your own stuff and knowing it will at least be even half-decent compared to the absolute crap the industry is churning out these days will keep up the motivation. Rather than constantly getting your hopes up and setting yourself up for disappointment and expecting somebody to rescue you.
Personally I want to play games rather than make them.
Just because I like reading books or watching anime doesn't mean I want to make one of those things.
Doesn't mean I haven't done a little dabbling in game dev mind you, but gamedev is genuinely one of the hardest creative pursuits to accomplish (if not the hardest) because of how much is incorporated in a game if you want to make a good one. (i.e. visual and audio assets (including animation/motion), coding/programming, testing and optimization, figuring out what's "fun", game design, sometimes writing (which indies have almost never done well which unfortunately hurts most RPGs immensely), and so on.
There's a reason the vast majority of devs and projects don't end up finished: Game development is fucking hard as balls.
