Age of Wonders 4 came out already and it's quite good. The best 4x in a long time.

I enjoyed Wrath of the Righteous so much more than I expected to, so I’m with you on Rogue Trader.

I modded it to replace the nog and the troon with orcs. In terms of gameplay it was pretty good.
