On related notes, if you don't mind the rambling, I've been finding a lot of interesting connections during my full watch through of the Kosmographia episodes on Randall Carlson's Youtube channel. He mostly talks about the Younger Dryas impact hypothesis, of comets impacting the North American ice sheets roughly 11-13 thousand years ago, causing catastrophic fires and floods. However, he also talks at length about various other connected subjects, like catastrophic wildfires possibly caused by comet gases, and how a lot of the stories and astronomical observations of ancient peoples were passed down through their religions. He mostly discusses Mithraism and the ancient origins of the Tarot cards, which is rather fascinating.
It's believed that the impacting comets originated from specific debris left by parent comets, left by gravitational stresses and getting too close to the sun, which cause particular meteor showers during specific times of the year, and appear to emanate from specific constellations in space. Sometimes the earth travels through denser and more dangerous parts of those comet debris trails, causing past catastrophes. As an example, this gives rise to the idea of fire breathing dragons, since there are Draconid meteor showers, which emanate from the mouth of the Draco constellation. Interestingly, the serpent mound in Ohio seems to have archeo-astronomical connotations in its orientation, which is discussed in Graham Hancock's Netflix series Ancient Apocalypse.
Randall Carlson discusses these topics in Kosmographia episodes 57, 76, and 77, as well as the origination of Halloween here, if you're curious. I find them rather fascinating.
In any case, there are astronomical connections to Saturn and past catastrophes. The ancient Greek and Roman religions said that Saturn/Cronus ate his own children, which might explain the "elite" practice of ritual cannibalism. It appears as though the "elites" actually worship the planets/locations where past catastrophes took place, or emanated from, which killed untold number of people and animal species (the mega fauna were killed off by the Younger Dryas impacts). Kabbalistic Jews also prize the number 6, as it's the 6th planet of our solar system, and the day that humans were created in the Old Testament. This would help to explain the worship of Saturn, and the belief of their own mortal divinity, in contradiction to the edicts of God. Interestingly, there's also a hexagonal shaped storm on the poles of Saturn. It's weird/coincidental/prophetic, then, that the New Testament warns of the beast, with the number 666. This might be explained by the star of Remphan (the false star of David), which has a hexagon in the middle, 6 points, and 6 lines.
I don't have all the answers yet, but there's clearly connections here that bear examination.
I didn't know that. Thanks for the info.
