I avoid shows that use pop culture.. pop culture are dead ends and becomes irrelevant.
I watch foreign shows because even if there is pop culture, i wouldnt know it. Ill treat it like if i was a kid watching a cartoon, but an adult joke went over my head and i still laughed because the character made a funnt face.
