Truckers should stop delivering to LA. Make the local business owners come to the outskirts to pick up their product, PO boxes for the residents well outside the city. They all tacitly (or overtly, in many cases) endorse the behavior of putting truckers at risk. And while this case is a pickup truck, not a delivery one, it's not like the delivery ones have any significant difference in their risk profile.
