There's no way to really truly verify whether or not what you're reading is propaganda
Wait, so you make this claim while being absolutely certain that Pol Pot killed more people than Hitler?
Hitler though, is considered more evil than Stalin, Pol Pot or Mao, despite the latter massacring way more. Why could that be?
It's not even true, but even if it were, Hitler killed more people with premeditation and in a shorter period of time. Which makes him more evil, though I don't play childish games like "who is more evil".
Why does American society, movies and TV always talk about Hitler and never about the evil communists
Never about evil communists? Missed all the movies with Russians as villains? Missed Rambo and Red Dawn?
Fascists are the worst, but commies are OK. Hypocrisy.
Hahaha you're not even American, so you have no idea how Hitler is front and center on every history network here. I remember going into a book store and on German history, it was all about WW2.
It's little different in Europe. "History" is World War II to most people. It may be even more salient because people here actually suffered under Nazi occupation, and therefore think it's the worst thing ever (because they want to play the victim).
No, he killed less but way more time is spent on him than other atrocities.
Most communist deaths are due to famine, not deliberate slaughter. I say there is a good reason the law distinguishes between premeditated murder and negligent homicide.
And still Hitler and his wars outdo those in the USSR in a shorter period of time.
Of course there's an agenda. Despite the fact that Hitler was thoroughly evil and worse than Stalin (in my opinion and that of Robert Conquest), the propaganda is disproportionate. But that's normal. Western media is propaganda.
According to official sources, these events happened but you can't be 100 percent sure on all facts.
Depends on the facts. I'm sure Germany invaded Poland on 1 September 1939. No one is sure about precisely how many people were killed, but people have pretty good ballpark estimates.
And there are no 'official' sources. There's just historians. Some of them are left-wing, others are more objective. No one claims that precisely 6 million Jews were killed, nor is anyone punished for questioning that precise number. (No one should be punished period.)
Why are Napoleon and Hannibal regarded fairly positively?
And the US won the Cold War...

Hypocrisy is the norm. You live in the West.
