I wouldn't want illegals in my country even if they were an economic plus, but it's worth noting that your source is an organization that opposes illegal immigration, so not exactly objective.
And where's the free health care? Do you mean the ER? That's not exactly health care, is it?
so anyone with a brain?
It 100% is. ERs in high illegal areas are used for routine medical care. Very long wait times but the care is still given.
Many blue states also try their best to make it easy for illegals to get signed up for official welfare programs.
ER is not really health care, because it's right there in the name: "emergency". How many times have you had an actual emergency?
You don't live in the US so you're not aware, but poors & especially illegals use ERs for routine health care.
It's not SUPPOSED to be for that, but it's used for that regardless. Hospitals do not turn them away. In areas flooded with illegals, you might have to wait a long time to get seen, but you'll get seen & treated even if you have some minor non-emergency issue.
How? How are ERs even equipped for routine health care? I have heard that this means they (the poor) only get health care when things have developed too far.
So if I'm in the US and need treatment, all I have to do is go to the ER and pretend to be illegal, and I'll get free health care?
I can believe that they don't dump people out on the streets who are bleeding out (because that would look bad), but this all sounds very unlikely. Do you have personal experience of something like this, or is it all from rumor?
