Yep, I was pleasantly surprised at all the good comments from people opposing this on Japanese YouTube too, from conservatives and apparent normies. I didn't even think about checking twitter. Does anyone actually know how twitter trending works yet? Whoever "Muharrem Ince" is it's obviously not the most popular by number of tweets, so that's not the only factor.
Yeah I remember they had something called "Moments" where journalists that had made secret agreements with twitter could ask to have a story injected into the trending feed. Publicly exposed when a Bloomberg Japan writer tweeted that her Moment wasn't working and support wasn't answering her messages. (because Elon fired the whole team that handled those)
