If you've spent any time on this or other feminist subs then you'll know these are topics that frequently come up here but usually in the context of 'if women are actually oppressed then why do men kill themselves more often' etc etc . . . . so my word of caution for you on these topics is to ensure you frame them correctly and have a very strong and knowledgeable moderator for conversations that can help ensure they don't all disappear down an unproductive and self indulgent MRA rabbit hole.

I listened to the Richard Reeves Male Inequality video, and while it's interesting I think there's a serious danger that it could start the conversation off in a really negative way. If you search just on reddit for Richard Reeves you'll find a lot of anti feminists raging about the content of that video and his book, or just bouncing off it's existence to have one of their standard rants...

Haven't seen that video, but the argument here is...'people discussed this in a way I didn't like, so we have to hide this, even if it supports our cause, because too many people question it.' Have I mentioned I loath these retards?

Also, that's a correct argument, that you're not going to address in the slightest, because you're a retarded feminist who doesn't have an answer. Why is women outperforming men a good thing that doesn't need a solution, but the inverse is not true? And, more importantly, is there a logical endpoint? If 'success' (however you measure such a thing) reached a point 0f 90/10 in favor of women...would it be time to pillory feminists, and make "MRA talking points" hip and acceptable narrative? Somehow, I doubt it.

I know I sound really negative, but there's a real chance your event could go seriously off the rails if you don't throughly consider the audience, the content, what you believe the objectives and outputs are, how you'll moderate the conversation, and how you'll deal with any disruption.

Perhaps you could start with a very small group of people you know to test some content and see how they respond so you can fully prepare for a larger audience. To be clear, I think it's a great idea, just make sure you go into it as prepared as you possibly can be to make sure it's productive.
