Asking this because it’s known that the reason everything’s been offshored is for profit, so I’m curious as to how much people here are willing to pay extra for a product if it gets made in the US again. 10% extra? 20%? 30%? How much of a markup for American labor is too much?

For me it entirely depends on the quality, is it solid and not flimsy as fuck because of the amount of corners cut in production? Great, then I'll buy it. Even being somebody who's not involved in production in the slightest I can see how shitty the metal/plastic is on a lot of products these days.
Would I buy something American made or just western made generally if it was shit just to support people? No, bad products shouldn't be rewarded. I mean something seemingly straightforward like cutlery is a great example of this. I've been amazed at how bad a lot of crap being sold is because you could snap it with your fingers there's that little real metal in them and even then you're probably not getting real steel to one degree or another yet they're often lying to you that it is.
It's all about honesty with the product for me these days, I know when I'm being lied to.
