I'm just saying, there's PLENTY of places in the UK you can effectively go off the grid in. That goes for most of Europe but the UK the police are such massive pussies that if you are out of the way and it's inconvenient for them, they'll probably leave you alone.

If you want a guarantee they'll leave you alone, become a lighthouse keeper or try those abandoned sea forts though they require A LOT of fixing up...
