Currently watching a livestream for a conference. Big, international organization, and yet the stream is disastrous...
I remember these same issues from conferences I have been to, in-person, myself. The stream almost always failed in some way. And this is the same shit.
It's like, it's so bloated, and so tech-illiterate, as to be almost completely unusable. And yet it's ubiquitous. Eugh...
In terms of hosting livestreams, which are the best if you were to rank them? Like people use Twitch a lot but people have been poached to YouTube thanks to more money but it sheer functionality which platforms are the best?
I dunno. Can Twitch host conference livestreams? That would be my question... Because this (Youtube) is terrible, lol...
Edit: which is ironic, seeing as it is coming to me from Japan, which, you would think, should be pretty good at tech shit like this, ha
I've seen twitch host live events many times, I don't know about conferences.
Unfortunately Japan isn't as high tech as they once were, they've been overtaken by South Korea and Taiwan. But they have good long term planning so a lot more stable compared to other regions.
