I think its more them accidentally admitting that Twitter is a public space, thereby it happening out in the open there is much more brazen thing. Because most of the "its not censorship, freedom of speech doesn't apply!" claims require it to be a "private company."
Its a problem because we live in the nightmare world where twitter is a huge component of government and business functions.
