Most leftists like to say that "anitas critics never even watched her videos". Those who did, did she really make any good points that women in gaming were just mere sex objects and nothing more or were just damsels in distress? I still see leftists saying she was right like shaun and big joel. I dont like her because for example she said that Elizabeth from bioshock infinite was a sex object for the male gaze and shat on other female characters like lara croft and bayonetta for daring to show skin. Ffs I dont even think characters like ivy valentine are sexist. Im a man and I dont find sexualized male characters like the ones in final fantasy mmo or granblue fantasy sexist to men (and before anyone says those characters are power fantasies, heres what one of the characters look like. if you honestly think thats just a power fantasy for men and isnt sexualized than idk what to say). Shes like a fucking nun who thinks women showing any inch of skin is automatically objectification. Ffs she got mad at bo katan for daring to have armor that helped her breasts. How can leftists who claim to be sex positive like such a prudish lady idk. And shes also against sex work and she is against the slut walks too, which is funny because I bet most of her supporters dont even know that.

I couldn't watch anymore after she claimed a cape acting under gravity was somehow a high tech garment designed to keep players from looking at Batman's butt. The part where she claimed voice-actor grunts in response to the character being hurt were actually sexual moans also didn't help.
Admittedly, this has been taken as something of a running joke in game vocals with female characters for years. But it's largely a coincidental result of just how vocal tones between men and women play out.
Like the only alternative is for female voice actors to try and sound extra masculine or extra screechy, which can be taken to ear-murdering levels even with male voice actors.
oh totally, it's even a thing that's actually used in porn parodies were they literally just take voice grunts from a game and slap it into the animation. but to insinuate that that's somehow an insidious secret code to make women sexual is just laughable.
