I wonder if this is a psyop so these studios can purge their halls of their activist infestation? They infiltrated the writer's union, and rabbleroused a strike. Now Universal, Warner, Paramount can clean house. We just can't afford it!
Then hire some actual hungry writers, who wont follow the mandatory 'rules' for this modern slop we've been stuck in since 2014.
The kind of people who get those works are those who already have connections and in order to have those connections you need to be neck deep into the zeitgeist to begin with.
If not then they will once again offer pittance for a pay and the only one who will pick up the job will be a bored trust fund kid who will do the job for influence.
Either way I don't see sudden influx of wholesome christian stories.
I don't think wholesome Christian stories would make for big dollar mass entertainment either. Any overt message is going to taint enjoyment, unless it's just flawlessly executed.
I'm just hoping there's some level of management that realizes that the goal is to make money, and to do that you should try to please your core audience. The reason you buy these franchises / properties / adaptations is because it has a built-in audience. It's like Hollywood has forgotten that. Or worse, decided it was worth billions to 'retrain' the audience. Like WotC or soon to be Games Workshop are trying to do.
To start making good stuff again, the activists need to be purged. I'd see this as a good time to do that. But.. if the nepotism is that deep, maybe it's better that they simply have to sell off their divisions and/or lease their properties to hungrier companies.

I'm not sure if that will work.
