It's not a kid you fucking moron. Stop infantilizing teenagers. If he's 16 he's above the age of consent in most of the US States. Learn the difference between pre-puberty, puberty, and post-puberty. Pedophilia, hebephilia, and ephebophilia. There are also terms for "legal" adults and "legal" pensioneers.
