As much as I dislike Amazon, I am an Audible junkie and having free books like the Screwtape Letters (C.S. Lewis) is a big plus. Looking for something interesting to pick up on. I generally like horror but also have probably 70 plus books on philosophy/ history like Sowell, Jung, Friedman, Rothbard, etc. On a side note, for fellow audiobook fans, RC Bray is doing Starship Troopers with a May slotted release.

Got some good horror recommendations? I heard shining, usually the ones I listen to are litrpgs cuz I have a weird taste. Horror I wouldn't mind checking out. I did like the lovecraft collection also but I generally love all things lovecraft and most probably know it.
Can't beat James Herbert for horror imo. Although idk about listening as audiobooks, since his books tend to have explicit sex too. Maybe if the narrator is female I could be persuaded.
The elementals and gilded needles by Malcolm McDowell are solid, actual gothic horror. Hell House is a solid story. The stand with Stephen king. False Memory, Seize the night and fear nothing from Koontz are all excellent.
