I said accidental discharge. As in, some dipshit doesn't have his gun safe or holstered correctly, sits down, brushes the trigger or hammer against something and accidentally shoots someone in the knees. Or a kid in the chest.
I am also not referring to ownership. I am referring to the right to carry it around all day. If you're carrying it all the time, and you're a moron, the probability of an accidental discharge is going to skyrocket, as is the probability of that accidental discharge negatively effecting someone other than yourself.
Food for thought: 37% non-fatal gun injuries are accidents. Does 37% sound insignificant to you???
