If the cops want to arrest you and the DA charge you, they have ways to make you incriminate yourself:
Intimidation
The Reid Technique
Good Cop, Bad Cop
The PEACE Method
Even something as innocent as the cop saying "he really deserved it huh?" If you agree, you just victim blamed your victim, and this fact will be used against you in court. People have no idea how much trouble seemingly innocent conversations with cops can cause. Shut up and lawyer up.
