What do you get from making fun of some random reddit person?
The left has always reveled in mean-spirited mocking of people they hate and now some people here who are on the right do the same.
We're not better than them because they're meanie heads. We're better than them because they're godless, demon worshipping pedophile degenerates and we're normal people. The difference here is a moral one.
If we'd been more mean to these freaks in the past, in fact, we wouldn't be in the position we're in now, with an imminent civil war and the collapse of civilization staring us in the face.
Good is not nice.
If you become consumed with hating the outgroup then you will suck the joy right out of your own life.
It is good to fight for your beliefs sure but engaging in constant hatred is a pathway to despair and destruction.
Give up on the star wars philosophy, because it's not real. It's just something Lucas thought up during an Adderall binge.
In real life it is in fact entirely possible to both despise the enemy as they deserve, and enjoy one's own life and loved ones. I hate the wicked because they should be hated, it's that simple. I can even derive enjoyment from their suffering, and still be a loving husband and caring father into the mix. People used to do this all the time, it was the norm throughout history before Hollywood poisoned everyone's minds with obvious propaganda.
Go read Meditations by Marcus Aurelius.
It is not "Star Wars" that proposes the importance of not being consumed by emotions especially negative emotions like hatred.
I am not saying that you can never hate anyone. I am saying you should not let hatred consume you entirely. There is a nuance here that you are missing.
