Aside from that: Didn't a lot of shit almost go wrong, because the decisions the kids made were fucking dumb? Like, in the first book, the bad guy had no way to reach the philosopher stone hadn't Harry not interfered? Or in the second, two children not telling any adult of the book that has fucking Wizard-Hittlers conscience in it?
I mean, most of the decisions these children made were horrible and a lot of them backfired spectacularily. So much so that JK frequently had to use Dei ex machina so not everyone died prematurely.
In the order of the Phoenix, Harry wants to join and the adults tell him he can't, because he is a child. They don't ignore it.
Sorry, I don't follow. Who doesn't ignore what?
The characters, in universe. Like Harry and co do wild ass shit, but it's still a fact they are underage.
