A long term girlfriend who doesn't cohabitate with you is the furthest you can go while maintaining a reasonable risk/reward ratio, and even then there are some risks. Not coincidently that's also the furthest you can go and still be considered MGTOW. A lot of MGTOW guys avoid dating altogether to further minimize risk, but no cohabitation, no marriage, and no kids are the only hard and fast rules.
